Village Halls Week comes to South Luffenham – Toddlers and Teas
Our hall will be part of a national campaign which celebrates England’s 10,000 village halls.
Celebrating in style, we will have Toddlers and Teas event on Monday 20 January from 11am. This will be at the end of our usual Stay and Play session so young and old alike in the village can share a cuppa and have a chat. There will be cake too!!
Margaret Miles, the High Sheriff of Rutland will also be coming along to show her support of the hall, our village and the national campaign.
Also coming along to serve the cuppas will be Rural Coffee Connect which is a brand new barista coffee van that is travelling across rural Leicestershire and Rutland popping up a safe, welcoming and informal café for people to enjoy a free cup of coffee or tea, chat and build connections in their community to help combat loneliness and isolation within our rural areas.
Pop the date in your diary and we hope you see you all there!
Village Halls Week is run by national rural charity Action with Communities in Rural England (ACRE) and their 38 member organisations. It takes place from Monday 20 January – Sunday 26 January.
